This film tells a story about 3 security guards. They have in common several features – they work at the same gallery, they all are retirees and they all love art. The difference between them is in the type of art they like. The first guard adores painting The Maiden displayed in the gallery. Roger, the second one, is fond of another painting. The third security guard likes sculpture.

The ideal reality where only ideal individuals live is presented in the film. People do not live in the houses – it is the task of their surrogates. These copies are rather attractive. But this world lack feelings no matter what they are – positive or negative. But this idea is shaken by the murder. FBI tries to investigate the case and agent Green finds out that there is a terrible mystery hidden from people. He has to find out the truth despite the danger over him.
