The film tells a beautiful story about true love of Clare to Henry. She is sure that their life paths should make one a common road but unfortunately life is not like we want it to be. Henry has an odd anomaly - he travels through time. It makes him live according to his own style and speed. He cannot control the actions of moving back and forth along his life. Clare doesn’t want to believe that this fact can prevent them from being together. She wants to find the way that will assist them in being a real loving couple.

Based on the true story of a Toronto bank manager, Dan Mahowny is addicted to gambling. Horses and sports are only a few of his interests. Eventually, he creates dummy accounts at his bank and uses that money to fly to Atlantic City to gamble. He seems to get little joy from winning and his addiction is such that he is unable to stop in any event. Even if he wins huge amounts - which he does - he simply continues to play until he has lost it all. It's a frighteningly lonely experience that cannot include friends or anyone else around him.

When his father dies, Terry (Gary Sinese) returns to the house where he grew up, planning to stay only long enough to clean and settle the estate. Yet something indescribable keeps him there longer than expected. Soon, he is reunited with memories and people from his past and his life is changed forever.

Spider, a deeply disturbed boy, believes his father has brutally murdered his mother and replaced her with a prostitute. He is diagnosed a schizophrenic and is sent to a mental institution, where he remains for twenty years. While institutionalized, he falls in love with the wife of one of the doctors. Upon his release, she follows him to London's rough East End where he tries to return to his former life as an artist. Gradually his fragile grip on reality begins to crumble.
