Tyler is a boy of fourteen. One day he comes across alien ship. This event leads to his acquiring some super powers and getting older. He becomes a "Skyrunner". His life changes immediately. He feels surer of himself at school and even makes up his mind to help his brother to arrange his personal life he has problems with.

The events took place in the beginning of ‘70s. There has been invented a special scale for meeting with the alien beings. The first kind of such encounter was when unknown flying object was just noticed. The second kind consisted in confirmation of the fact.
