A Nightmare On Elm Street (2010)

A Nightmare on Elm Street is a horror movie that is set in a fictional town in Springwood, Ohio. This movie is about several teenagers who are killed when they fall asleep. The killer kills them in their dreams and this causes them to die in reality. The teenagers have no clue about what is happening but there is a dark secret that involves their parents.

When the movie starts, the one of the characters, Tina Grays dreams that she is in a boiler room where she is being stalked by a figure that is mutilated. She wakes just before the figure is about to catch up with her and she realizes she has cuts on her nightgown just like in her dream.

When she meets up with a friend of hers called Nancy, she realizes that they had similar dreams but Nancy does not seem to be concerned. Nancy and Glen, her boyfriend have a sleepover to try and comfort Tina. Tina's boyfriend arrives for the sleepover without an invite and they spend the night together in her mother's room. During the night, Tina has the same nightmare and this time she is killed brutally and when her boyfriend wakes up he finds her body badly cut. He is accused of murdering her because he was the only one in the room and he is arrested.

Nancy also gets the same nightmares three times and she is convinced that the same figure that killed Tina is after her. Nancy tells Tina's boyfriend that she thinks the same figure wants to kill her and is convinced about this when he tells her about what he saw when he work up.
