(500) Days of Summer Plot Summary:
Even living in the cruel surrounding and seeing the problems that exist in the world Tom does not stop believing in love. Unfortunately Summer doesn’t share his views. Tom realizes that but goes on conquering her attention with stubbornness. He later understands that it is not Summer with all her positive qualities that attracts him but the thought of loving and being loved. He lives with this idea every day of his life. It all starts when Tom meets beautiful and witty Summer one warm sunny day. She works as a secretary of his boss for a short period of time. He works as a card writer. It is difficult to imagine that Tom discovers many common things with her. In a month Tom finds himself thinking about Summer every moment of the day. Later he finds himself reflecting only on his beloved person. After 185 days of their acquaintance things get worse and worse. And while Summer and Tom are trying to solve troubles in their relationships, we see a plot consisting of human feelings, communication, emotions and sense of loving. The film tells us why we all want to find our second half for feeling better.
