Plot Summary:
Foster is playing the main part in the film The Accused. She is a simple woman having a fame of a free-morale woman. One evening, sitting in the bar, she has been raped by a group of drunken bar owners. The case is investigated by attorney who is sure that bar owner are not only guilty in the made crime but also in reasons that caused a terrible accident with a poor woman. The film contains a detailed and very realistic moment of the rape that looks rather disgusting and inhumane. Almost for the first time Hollywood has released the film that has a deal with violence over the woman so broad on the screen. One of actresses taking part in the film has been a victim of rape in the past.
