Plot Summary:
Ryan Bingham is the main hero of this fascinating story. He works for Career Transition Counseling that doesn’t have the best times. People, who work there, are at risk of being fired. As for Ryan, he adores his job. He is in the air almost all year long and that is what he really likes about his occupation. He wants to have a certain number of miles that he has been flying, he wants them more and more and it makes up his aim. But this is not the only one. The other thing he does like doing is to help people relax while telling him all grieves and sorrows. He is able to find necessary words for people to start feeling better when they try to recover after unpleasant moral or physical injures. He considers himself to be dedicated to what he is doing in life. He has a flat in his home town but it does not seem to be a cozy one because he has no time to live in it. He has not warm relations with his relatives though sometime he sees them. He has no aim of having a woman to marry. But once when his company gets Natalie Keener to work, his life totally changes. She also has a fresh view at company’s work that changes the company in some way as well. As Ryan considers her to be a little bit unprofessional he doesn’t expect his boss to send her with him to the next flight. It appears to be a significant one as Ryan tries to leave each part of his life unchanged but the process of its altering has already started. In the end he meets another woman who is as busy as he is.
