Plot Summary:

In this movie, Christopher Nolan, one of Hollywood’s best loved directors, takes on the myth Batman, one of the most loved pop and comic icon which was first revealed to the public way back in 1939. The character has been in countless adaptations so far from movies, TV program, animations and of course comics. Download Batman Begins movie for a taste of how the franchise returned to its comic book roots after going astray with the previous incarnations.
The most popular and well known Batman adaptation was the long running, quirky TV series starring Adam West which introduced Batman to a world-wide audience. Here Nolan has all but dispensed with the hilarity and delivers a deeply ironic, physiological and ponderous portrait with such a sense of gravity that it lingers on self-importance.

Batman fanatics have never been happy with any of the silver screen adaptations not even the dark Tim Burton version starring Michael Keaton as the cape avenger and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. In this restarting of the franchise, Nolan respectfully replays the superhero’s beginnings and may prove to the defining moment between filmmakers and fans. Nolan introduces the audience to popular characters from the comics but never seen before on the big screen. These characters include Jonathan Crane, the psychiatrist and Lucius Fox, Wayne Enterprises chief scientist were all in the original comics created by Bob Cane.

Combining the original comics with a few of their own creations, screenwriter David Goyer and Nolan have surprised is with an convoluted but detailed retelling of how Bruce Wayne the gazillionire became the legend with the cape. Nolan who previously directed the splendid movie “Momento” takes over an hour to carve Bruce Wayne’s early life; from his martial arts training under the man named Ducard and finally his return to Gotham City.
Wayne’s fight against crime has much to do with his guilty consciousness over seeing his father die but also a deep fear for bats. As his trainer Ducard tells him “You fear your own anger, your own power. To conquer fear, you must become the fear”

The man who would become the legend in this movie is played to perfection by Christian Bale. His combination of physical strength and reserved is ideal for the indifferent superhero. He also has what is required for every Batman incarnation, a great mouth, essential for role where the actor is missing behind the mask most of the time.

Bale who looks a lot like a youthful Cliff Robertson, is perfect as both the psychologically trouble Bruce Wayne and the legend Batman. He manages to convey scenes of deadpan humor which is unfortunately engulfed by the frequent barrage of frenetic action and noise.
The great thing about this movie not only does Bale do a great job but the entire case is top notch. Michael Caine who plays the faithful butler Alfred, Tom Wilkinson as the Falconi the crime boss, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Katie Holmes as Bruce Wayne’s childhood sweetheart and assistant district attorney, Rachel Dawes.

This Christopher Nolan movie is not for kids as only adults will be able to understand and sit through two and a half hours of endless fight sequences, car chases, arcane dialogue and a end scene that is almost straight out of zombie fest. Download Batman begins for a intensely violent and dark action movie.
