Plot Summary:

This film is about an unexplained blindness that has spread and infected almost everyone in a city. This is followed by various other problems including social breakdown causing panic all over. An ophthalmologist (among those who got infected at first) and his wife find many of his patients and others at a place and they get together as a family. His wife is not affected by this sudden epidemic.

Due to the spread of the news of this onset, there are attempts by government to put into practice some measures (that are repressive). The food delivery is irregular and organization is lacking and due to that there is problem with its fair distribution. The soldiers that are there to guard asylum become antipathetic as many of them get infected and even deny basic medicines. To worsen the conditions, a gang gets control over the food and suppresses others and even tries to assault them sexually. The people inside asylum gets fed up and burn the asylum but the army leaves before. The doctor, his wife along with the so-called family tries to survive in the no law and order, schools, government and other services type of society. They are successful in getting a permanent home and one person recovers this epidemic quite suddenly so he serves as a hope to other.
