Plot Summary:
A German family of Wollners lives in Maryland before the beginning of the World War 2. They are asked to give refuge to Professor Richard Wirth who is supposed to visit the country. Though they are not rich they decide to shelter their guest at their home. They couldn’t even imagine that this person will make a hell of their lives and they will be at the edge between life and death. In 2001, when more than 70 years have passed, Evan Marshall felt he had difficulties in his life, though he was just 25. He had had an elder brother, Victor, who has mysteriously disappeared when they had been together in a trip. Suddenly his brother comes back and Evan prefers not to ask him anything. His brother asks to follow him and take a revenge at that odd place named Town Creek where the kidnapping took place.
