Plot Summary:

‘Blue Valentine’ is a romantic drama movie that has the perfect ingredients to be a hit movie. The film is directed by Derek Cianfrance and written by Derek Cianfrance, Cami Delavigne. This is an emotional movie and can easily bring tears to the eyes. The characters are well played by Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams and John Doman. It is a spellbinding live story that keeps one wanting for more. This movie has received a lot of appraise for its uniqueness.

The film focuses on a modern married couple of Dean Pereira (Ryan Gosling) and Cindy Heller Pereira (Michelle Williams). This working class couple is living a content life. Dean works as a painter and Cindy works as a nurse in a medical clinic. Both have a beautiful adolescent daughter named Frankie. They thought they had the contended life they wanted but things starts to crumble when they see that their marriage is doing nothing but destroying their lives. And that they are gaining nothing out of it. Their lives and their experiences are both ravaged by this marriage. The movie shows Dean as a high school drop out belonging to a poor and broken background with nothing in his hands. He didn’t even have a motherly figure to start of his life with. Dean had thought his life would be love less and without marriage and family, but that was before he fell in love with Cindy at first sight. He leads an ambition less life and loves that painting that he does. Cindy has a lot more belief in dean than himself and thinks he can do much more in his life. Cindy herself comes from a family with lose ends. Her mother and father never showed her how a happily married couple lived and what a happy family is. She also has a past relationship with Bobby Ontario (Mike Vogel) that affects her marriage to Dean. The movie rolls out into the two going on a getaway to understand each other and form the bond of love and trust. This is a journey of a couple going through thick and thin to find out whether they stand together and find the true meaning of each other in their lives.

This is a powerfully written romantic movie that leaves one in awe. All the romance lovers out there have to watch this movie. It shows the typical American marriage.
