Plot Summary:

Sean Okden who lives in Australia has left his tap-dancing hobby for his work in the steel mill. But he is the only one dancer from Newcastle – his native city – to be chosen for a dancing show in Sidney. But soon he had a quarrel with a leading dancer and has to go back home. When he returns he is shocked with what he sees – his brother Mitchell and his girlfriend in bed! He doesn’t give up and does not give way to panic. He has a thought on his mind to create his own tap-dancing group. Its members are supposed to wear hard hats. One more brilliant idea comes to his head. As he worked at the steel mill he wants to weld metal on shoes. Industrial steel should also be under the feet of the dancers. In such a way the sound would be great. Local rock group agreed that it would suit them as well. They want to make a debut but it appears to be rather expensive though the mill premises are allowed to use for free. His father is against spending his mother’s inheritance so the main hero wants to attract media attention by steeling the podium of cheerleaders from the football match. The events develop fast and the film will keep you in front of your screens till the end.
