Charles Foster Kane is a name to reckon with in newspaper publishing and is a rich and powerful man who lives lavishly in his vast empire called Xanadu in Florida. Jerry Thompson (William Alland) is a reporter who is intrigued by his last words and tries to go into details of his past life. The film goes into flashbacks as audiences get to see that Kane lived in poverty with his mother and father. His parents run a boarding house for students. On a property acquired by his mother, discovery of a large gold mine changes Kane’s life as he goes to study. When he grows up, he sets up newspaper business and soon becomes ultra rich and powerful. He buys New York Inquirer, hires best journalists and turns the paper in to a gold mine.

Kane marries with Emily, who is a former President’s niece, but the marriage is not successful. Soon he has an affair with Susan Alexander, which becomes known to his wife as well as his opponents which finishes his political career. He marries Susan and tries to make her an opera artist but she fails. Susan finally leaves him after a life of boredom at Xanadu.

Thompson, even after trying hard could not find the mystery behind ‘Rosebud’. In the end, audiences are shown that Rosebud was a sled he played with when he was a small child. That was the only time Kane felt happy in his life. Citizen Kane movie download will teach you a lesson or two about life.
