Plot Summary:
The story develops in 1975 in the Northern Ireland. It was the time when the Civil war was developing when IRA goes against the loyalists and Loyalists go against Catholicism. 16-year old Alistair Little is a UVF leader who longs to participate in battles. He and his gang are allowed to murder James Griffin who is a catholic as a warning for the others. When this step is taken into action 11-year old Joe Griffin sees how they kill his elder brother. About thirty years will have passed since then and two adult men Alistair and Joe are destined to meet. They need to decide their problem once and forever. Alistair has already come out of prison and is agreed to put Northern Ireland into peace. But Joe has his own plans. He is not going to shake hands with Alistair. His main goal is to take revenge over his brother’s killer.
