Plot Summary:
The film is about Francis Ouimet. He comes from a common working family who arrived to live in America. He didn’t have anything to start with but he managed to achieve success. He couldn’t do anything but playing golf, but he did it so good that it made him the first among the best gold players in those times. He persuaded the whole world that wealth is not everything in life. Without any money he proved to win and alter the system of playing forever because only rich people were had been supposed to play golf before Francis appeared. In 1913 Francis realized that he had to prove his skill. Being unknown before he had to play and win over the Champion of Great Britain who had won for six times in his native country. That stays a record until now. He was a god in sports who had proved his maturity. Francis Ouimet was an obscure American gamer without fame or glory. Their combat is considered a legendary one where positive human traits as will, contemplation, desire to win are clearly described.
