Plot Summary:

The movie begins with the death eaters attacking the Wizrading world and the muggle. On the other side, Draco Melfoy is given a assignment by Voldemort. Severus Snape is provoked by Bellatrix to cover Draco and of course continue his work in case he fails. Harry is unwilling to go back to the school because of all that happened at Ministry of Magic. He is then brought by Dumbledore to persuade Horace Slughorn, former Potions Professor to come back to Hogwarts. Harry along with Hermione and Ron gets suspicious about Draco when they are at the Diagon Alley (George and Fred’s new shop), and notice him in a conversation with Narcissa, Fenrir, and Bellatrix. He is but horrified by Draco when he tries to eavesdrop on him and saved by Luna Lovegood.

Harry borrows textbooks and one of the books, Half-Blood Prince has extra instructions that help Harry to do better in class. Ron is a hero after being a successful keeper at Quidditch and is involved with Lavender Brown leaving Hermione’s heart broken. Harry shares with Hermione his feelings for Ginny Weasley who is in relationship with Dean Thomas. At Christmas, Harry is at Weasley’s and gets to be closer to Ginny who is single again. He is attacked by Fenrir and Bellatrix who want to kidnap Harry but fail as Harry is saved by Order. But they set the Burrow on fire.

After a series of ups and downs, finally Draco lets out that he is told to kill Dumbledore but Snape uses a curse and kill Dumbledore and reveals that the Half Blood prince is non other than Harry himself. At the end, Harry with his companions declares to know about R.A.B and left Horcruxes.
