Plot Summary:

This Horror movie, directed and written by Adam Green, is a sequel of Hatchet. Derek Curl, Sarah Elbert and Cory Neal are the producers of film, and music director is Andy Garfield. The movie screened at London FrightFest Film Festival, on 26 August 2010, and released in United States and Canada on 1 October 2010.

The cast includes Danielle Harris, Kane Hodder, Tony Todd, Tom Holland, Parry Shen, AJ Bowen, Alexis Peters and many others. Danielle Harris is playing the character of Marybeth, as the story revolves around her. Director has created horror in the film, by showing a lot of blood and brutal murders.

The movie starts where the first Hatchet film ended, when Marybeth escapes from the attack of Victor Crowley. Jack Cracker helps her in getting back to her house, and tells her that if she wants to fight with Victor, she should contact Zombie. She goes to Zombie’s shop and asks for her, he promise to help her if she manages to bring another family member. Meanwhile, he gathers some hunters to flight with Victor and find the bodies of Marybeth’s brother and father.

All of them go to swamp, but Victor kills all hunters one by one, in the end, he kills Marybeth’s uncle and Zombie too. Marybeth Attacks Victor with Hatchet, and strike him repeatedly, in the end she shots her with a gun.

The performance of all the actors is appreciated, but if you do not like lot of blood and cruel murders, you might not like the film. The lovers of Hatchet will really love Hatchet II, as Adam Green has offered almost everything, which he presented in Hatchet. Majority of the audience will like the movie, but a percentage might not like this kind of horror. Critics are rating it as an average film.
