Plot Summary:

Just like other two movies, the beginning is with Scrat (the squirrel) who is again too much involved in finding acorn and bumps into Scratte, whom he falls in love with. On the other side, Ellie is expecting and Manny is a lot excited about the baby and wants to ensure a safe place for the baby, thereby, thinking he can do anything being the biggest creature on earth. At the same time, Diego is not able to catch a gazelle and therefore wants to move on, away from his “herd” so that he can again live the life of a predator. Sid finds himself alone, as Manny and Diego are busy in their own lives. Confused what to do, he lands in a cave underneath ice sheet, where he finds 3 abandoned eggs (that belong to a dinosaur actually). The annoyed dinosaur, on finding the eggs missing, starts search for her eggs, when she come across Sid and 3 baby dinosaurs. But Sid does not want to part with “his babies” and is taken by the dinosaur to an underworld.

Ellie, Manny, Crash and Eddie (of course Diego joining the fun soon) follow the dinosaur’s foot prints that lead them to the underworld, and here they confront an insane weasel Buckminster who has lost his one eye because of Rudy and is now chasing him. After a series of bone-tickling events, on one side, Sid is attacked by Rudy and Ellie, on other side, is into labor. In the last scenes, Rudy attacks the herd as they are finally leaving with the new born baby named Peaches. But Rudy falls off the cliff after being knocked by Mommy dinosaur. Everyone wants Buck to come along but he realizes that Rudy is still alive and returns to his world again, chasing Rudy. And so, at the end, Peaches receives a warm welcome to Ice Age from others.
