Plot Summary:
A group of elementary school children was asked to make some pictures for saving in a capsule. These pictures were supposed to be taken from the capsule in fifty years by a group of pupils studying in 2008. All pictures were fine except one girl’s painting. It didn’t contain any drawing, only numbers written randomly in a particular order known to no one. It got into Professor John Koestler’s hands, whose son took this weird sheet of paper home. He found out that it was a massage to future generations with certain dates when disasters happened during a period of fifty years. These numbers helped to follow them in the past and predict new ones in the future. John tried to solve this mystery and made a conclusion that three more events would happen soon. But there was nothing after them and it could mean only one thing: the end of the world. Somehow John and his son were participating in all coming events but John didn’t know how exactly. He found relatives of this letter’s author in order to deepen into the past and find the salvation in the present. Finally he gets to know the whole truth but where does it lead – to a catastrophe or to the redemption?
