Plot Summary:

Harvey Shine is the main hero living in New York. He is a jingle writer but he risks very much to lose this source of income. He has one last opportunity left to prove his boss that he is able to keep on working. On weekend his daughter gets married and Harvey makes up his mind to go there but to return till Monday morning as something important has been planned. When Harvey comes to London to his daughter he finds out that she has altered her stepfather to walk her to the aisle. He is extremely disappointed but tries to hide his feelings. After the ceremony he leaves fast but fails to come in time and his plane flies away without him on board. Moreover he gets to know that his boss fires him as he hasn’t proved to be a good worker. He has nothing to do but drink alcoholic beverages in the bar when suddenly he finds himself talking to a nice lady Kate who works at the National Statistics. She is not happy in her life pressed by some disappointment and fulfilled only with her job. She likes Harvey who feels the same towards her. A miracle happens that being with each other helps them to solve all their problems.
