The Lion King Plot Summary:
This cartoon is dedicated to a king of jungles Simba – a lion. The plot is about events that happen to a lion cub. He is supposed to become a brave and just king of animals. He feels proud of his future nomination but he doesn’t feel that big responsibility will be on his shoulders. Once he played with his best friend Nala who was a lion cub too. His father Mufasa – a ruling king – tells him a real philosophy. He tells him about the harmony that exists in the world, about “The Circle of Life”, about unity of all animals in the surrounding. He prepares Simba to the moment when he will have to lead the pride. Scar – another lion who is Mufasa’s brother hates Simba. He wants to rule but Mufasa and his young cub prevent him from the dream. He makes a plan of getting rid of both of them to become a king. Finally he manages to create a perfect plan provided by three stupid hyenas. Shenzi, Banzai, and Ed make Simba get lost in a terrible place. When Mufasa makes an effort to save his son he dies. Scar is a bad lion. He makes Simba think that he is the only one to blame for his father’s death. Simba is very scared and alone. He makes up his mind to escape from his native lands and never return. On his way he meets two friends. One of them is Pumbaa and the other is Timon. They wander around different places and do nothing in general. They teach Simba the other philosophy called "Hakuna Matata" that means life without troubles and problematic thoughts. They travel and never know in the evening what they will do the next day. He grows up and turns into a handsome young king of jungles. Once he meets an extremely beautiful lioness. She appears to be his friend of childhood – Nala. She tells Simba a sad story about Scar and difficult times on the land that was a great one in the past. She tells Simba that he is supposed to be a king. A baboon named Rafiki helps him greatly. He discovers that father’s spirit lives inside Simba. It makes him reflect on his destiny and take the most important decision in his life. He should return and become the King.
