Plot Summary:
The Cadillac Coupe de Ville rushed in the streets of New York. But no one paid any attention to the car. Ann Devereaux was sitting inside it. She is a pretty and active woman who left her husband and took two their children with her. One of them is named George, the other is Robbie. She wanted to find the other man who would support her materially. Ann Devereaux is sure that she is able to seduce a man she needs. She thinks she has enough charm to become a loved person for a man. But in spite of her self-confidence she discovers that it is almost impossible to get what she wants. She tries not to give up, but constant changes of schools for boys, bad and dirty homes, unhappy dates with the men. Ann tries to do her best and Robbie supports her in many ways. He considers that he is created to perform at the stage. Her younger son, on the contrary, is very talented in writing. His skills don’t let his mother change everything forever. After many events that had happened to them on their way to the good life, their life has really become different. It turned from an odd trip to a wonderful experience. Ann is rather impulsive in her actions and the people they meet on their way make her suns laugh, enjoy the trip, be surprised or feared. But finally Ann’s son George notices many positive traits in his mother’s character that helps her to alter their lives ultimately with the best outcome they could even have imagined.
