Plot Summary:

This is a sequel to the original hit horror film paranormal Activity and the story takes off from where it left the viewers last time. The plot of the film is centered on a young couple who are doomed to watch helplessly a potentially evil spirit roaming around in their suburban home. The film starts with Kristi Rey coming home with her newborn son Hunter. Others in the family are Ali, Kristi’s daughter from previous marriage, her husband Dan Rey, Family’s housekeeper Martine and their pet dog Abby.

There are disturbing incidents in and around the house to convince the couple about an evil spirit. Hunter is woken up several times in the night and Abby is shown barking at something unseen in Hunter’s room. Martine tries to cleanse the house of any evil spirit, but Dan fires her because of this. Katie is shown discussing their childhood when they were tormented by a demon. Ali tries to find out the truth and learns that if someone tries to strike a deal with the demon, the price for the deal is the life of the first born male in the family.

Many paranormal activities are witnessed in the home and everyone is terrified. Violence escalates in the house and Abby attacked and pulled violently. Dan and Ali take the dog to a vet. Kristi notices flickering of lights in Hunter’s room, and she is dragged by an unseen force out of the room down to the stairs when she is released. But now she is possessed.

The rest of the film is how Dan tries to save Kristi from the clutches of the evil spirit and how in the process, he and the family has to face a lot of difficulties. The film ends on a tragic note when Katie kills Kristi and Dan, and elopes with Hunter.
