Plot Summary:
This film tells a story about John Dillinger who lived in Chicago in 1930s. He was a famous bank robber having bright last years of his life. He adored robbing; it was his real calling, so he was rather satisfied with all his life. He felt comfortable in the city without being afraid of punishment. In Chicago he gets acquainted with Billie Frechette whom he worships. At that very time he meets Melvin Purvis who works in the FBI and hunts John. The FBI was only on the stage of development those days but Director did his best for this organization to develop fast. Purvis is sure that it is not so easy to catch legendary John Dillinger. He has to be smarter than a criminal and has his own tactics. Finally one of his acquaintances tells to the authorities where Dillinger is and they catch him.

The Great Depression made anti-heroes popular
Watching some of these crime dramas I found it hard to believe the stories were actually true. This is a part of American history and those gangsters and thieves from the depression era were idolized because they seemed to live better than most. Much was written about Bonny and Clyde and John Dillinger, and their stories made great movies. I wanted to see this one again so found I could simply download Public Enemy movie to have for my own and so can you.

Johnny Depp makes a believable John Dillinger
I’ve seen most of the movies based on the life of John Dillinger and this one may be the best of the bunch. With Michael Mann directing how could they go wrong? Well it’s hard to remake classics like the version starring James Cagney, but Depp does a spectacular job here. Look online and you can download Public Enemy movie just as I did and see for yourself.
The 30’s were a time of crime waves and heroes
Those heroes from the 1930’s were often rather shady characters who were idolized by those who struggled to survive in those depression years. Men like John Dillinger were often written up in crime magazines and novels as if they had done some heroic deeds instead of looting and murdering as they actually did.
As a movie buff I wanted this one so found where to download Public Enemy movie and now can watch every detail at my leisure.
John Dillinger was Public Enemy #1 in the 30’s
Not just another movie depicting the life of John Dillinger (infamous criminal from the 1930’s) this one is directed and co-written by Michael Mann of Miami Vice fame. Johnny Depp is a smooth Dillinger and when I found I could download Public Enemy movie I did it immediately and now have my own copy to watch whenever the mood strikes me.
