Plot Summary:

The Rite is a movie on super natural and exorcism that has been directed by Michael Hafstrom and written by Michael Petroni and Matt Baglio. Michael Kovak (Colin O’Donoghue) is a young man who is cross with his father and decides to leave him. Father tries to convince him and says he will get him college education if he attends a course in exorcism in Italy, which is if he still does not wish to continue. Father Xavier, who is conducting the course, realizes that Michael is tentative and so suggests him to meet his friend, Father Lucas (Anthony Hopkins).

Father Lucas is a renowned exorcist and Michael finds him treating a young pregnant girl who is carrying a child because of his father. Michael is not convinced despite he sees some super natural scenes. The girl speaks fluent English despite never having known the language which surprises Michael.
