"Rollerball" Plot Summary:
Alexi Petrovich has hired Johnathan Cross who adores a feeling of risk. Rollerball is the best game for Johnathan to manifest himself. The rules are simple: moving on the rollerblade a gamer has to target a metal ball into a goal that is not so easy: motorcyclists are riding around trying to prevent gamers from their aim. The most attractive feature for Johnathan is that he has not to follow the rules as they don’t exist in the game. Alexi Petrovich was a good coach; he taught Johnathan what spectators liked most of all – blood. Alexi did his best to keep the audience before the screens. When Johnathan becomes a mature gamer, he finds himself in danger. In spite of all their victories members of his team have to prove once more that they are worth being the best. But their rival has changed – this time it will be Alexi.
