Plot Summary:

The movie Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is in the genre of drama and romance and talks about a young man and his dreams. Scott Pilgrim is a young, 23 year old unemployed youth who plays guitar in a rock band and dreams of making it big in the world of music.

Scott dates Knives Chau, who is five years younger to him and studies in a high school. But he is still sulking by his rejection at the hands of his former girlfriend who is a success in the music world, having her own band. He is enjoying life until he sets eyes on Ramona Flowers, who has come to Toronto from New York to get rid of her past and live in peace. It becomes difficult for Scott to strike a balance between Knives and Ramona, and what is worse is that Ramona has a violent past with seven ex lovers. Scott does not know about her past and tries to befriend her. It is when he is deeply in love with Ramona does he find out that she has seven exes. They are all desperate to claim Ramona, and if Scott has any plans of wooing Ramona, he has to battle all seven of them and defeat them.

First of the 7 exes is Matthew Patel, who comes between Scott and his contract with a music company. Scott beats Matthew and is told by Ramona that if he wishes to date her, he has to beat all the remaining six exes. The second ex is Lucas Lee, who is a skate boarder and an actor. Scott tricks him into trying a dangerous stunt with his skate and beats him. In a similar fashion, Scott defeats all other exes of Ramona, and in the end gets a chance to start afresh with his flame.
