Plot Summary:
Once like in a fairy-tale there was a dirty swamp. There lived a very ugly ogre whose name was Shrek. He liked being alone but suddenly his loneliness was disturbed by diverse heroes from fairy-tales. He found them everywhere in his sweet home: in his bed, in his room, on his table and around the house. He discovered that they were so frightened by angry Lord Farquaad who drove them all from homes that preferred hiding in ogre’s house. Shrek made up his mind to save both their homes and his own and went to Farquaad to solve the problem. But Lord is not so stupid. He sees Shrek’s force and sends him to set a pretty Princess Fiona free. She is determined to be Farquaad’s wife in case he saves her. So Shrek starts his journey together with a witty donkey who can speak. On one hand it may seem surprising but on the other one it is impossible to make him be silent at least for a minute. But saving a Princess from an angry but lovely dragon is not the biggest problem. The mystery on Fiona is to be discovered soon…
