Plot Summary:
Melinda Sordino is in her teens. She goes to High school but she cannot see eye to eye with other teenagers. She stops talking at all. No one understands her and soon she gets a nickname "squealer". The reason for it was the event that happened in summer - she called the police during one of the parties. Her mother has no time for her daughter, so they don'w communicate either. Some teachers do not support her, but some do. Mr. Freeman is an art teacher who is among a minority of her backers. This girl has to find her place in the world even considering the fact of sexual assault and general disapproval.
