Plot Summary:

The movie The A-Team follows the adventures of an elite combat unit. The four members of the team complete a successful assignment in Mexico in the opening sequences. Eight years after this event, Colonel Hannibal is contacted by a CIA Agent Lynch. He has another mission for the team: to steal from Iraqi forgers U.S. treasury plates and the counterfeit cash. The colonel is advised by his superior - General Morrison - to not take the job, but he agrees to do it. The team achieves the mission's objective. The shipping container carrying the money and the general's car are destroyed by a mercenary called Brock Pike. The team members are arrested and sentenced to ten years in prison.

Lynch visits Hannibal six months later and proposes him to get the plates back. In exchange, his team will have a clean record. Hannibal fakes his own death to break out of prison and manages to free his three friends as well.

The team finds Pike and retrieves the plates. They also learn that the Arab facilitating the business was actually General Morrison which switched sides. Lynch orders an air strike which kills the general. The team members escape.

Face puts a plan together to reveal Lynch's true intentions. Hannibal sets up a meeting with agent Sosa promising to give her the plates retrieved. Lynch hears about it and plans an ambush for the team. The four friends have an agenda of their own though. They trick Lynch into thinking they have the general. One of them poses as being Morrison. The two sides fight against one another. Lynch is arrested by CIA agents for his illegal acts. The team is also detained for having escaped prison. But they have a back-up plan. As agent Sosa kissed Face – on of the team members, she slipped a key for their cuffs.
