Plot Summary:
If you are a video game geek and love fantasy films, you will lap up Tron: Legacy which is the story of Sam Flynn, a 27 year old computer savvy son of Kevin Flynn, who disappeared mysteriously 20 years ago. Sam is trying hard to find his father’s whereabouts and gets sucked into a world of gladiator games which has been an abode for his father for the last two decades. With the help of a friend, Sam enters the cyber world where he meets his father and the father son duo begins their journey, fighting all odds to come back to earth once again. The film has been directed by Joseph Kosinski and written by Edward Kitsis. Tron: Legacy has been a box office hit wherever it has been released and also won critics approval for the plot and some out of the world action sequences. The roles of father and son have been played by Jeff Bridges and Garrett Hedlund in a very admirable way.
Tron: Legacy is basically a sequel of a film by the same name in 1982, and surprisingly, the director of the earlier film is back this time as the producer. Kevin Flynn is the CEO of ENCOM software company and makes it very successful. He tells his son Sam about his creation, a grid, and promises to take him there one day. But Kevin disappears one day, never to come back again. 20 years have passed and Sam is trying to fins his father. He goes to the computer lab of his father and enters the last command given by his father. This takes him into the cyber world of the grid invented by his father. A program named Quorra makes him meet his father and the trio fight all along to get back to the real world.
